In traditional “vanilla” dating scene women far outnumber
men but in the world of D/s the opposite phenomenon seems
to exist. Even when comparing pretend Doms to actual Dominant/Alpha
males the disparity persists. At the same time, there appears
to be an increase in Fem Dommes. So why is that so one may wonder?

The answer lies in the same explanation as to why women,
in general, appear to be embracing the D/s lifestyle to
one degree or another. Simply put men are checking out.
Men are increasingly becoming less masculine and many
are no longer up the task God created them for, to lead, to
uncertainty, to protect and persevere. Women who
may not have the sexual proclivities that sexual submission
women hold are drawn to the D/s lifestyle in hopes of finding
a traditional man who will lead and protect. Hence the explosion
of 50 Shades of Grey and similar genres of writing and movies.
Unfortunately, these same women are disappointed at the
lack of masculinity among even self-described Dominant
men. Many of these men try to pawn themselves off as Dom’s
thinking spanking their ass while fucking her from behind
is what she wants. What she really wants is for you to lead,
nurture, protect be a fucking man not just a man who fucks.

If you think this sounds like traditional patriarchal
you would be right. Despite years of feminist theory being
forced down women’s ( and men) throats, many women are
rejecting the notion that men and women are the same. Many
but not all, who did embrace the feminist mantra and deferred
having serious relationships, and are now left
with the realization that they had been lied too. They don’t
want to be like a man they want to be a woman and compliment
a man. <br><br>
Men being slower, have yet to wake up to this fact. Many are
still trying to be more like women and some are utterly confused.
Indeed, many women are confused between what society tells
them should be and what nature calls them to be. Until men
wake up and learn how to be men and that it OK to be a man, many
women will be left disappointed. <br><br>
I am not condemning women who want no part of the patriarchal
system and who do subscribe to the feminist theory. I believe
women should be free to pursue their lives and much progress
has been made towards that end. The tragedy is that many
women are guilted into something that is largely unnatural.
And men are simply don’t know what to do.
