 From my own experience, not finding what your looking for can be quite frustrating and build a lot of negative emotions. By giving up looking, your giving into those emotions. Tis better to take a step back, let out those bad feelings and find something positive to replace them as you did with the rope! Becoming more active , as in attending munches, either close to home OR faraway can help. Knowing it isn't "just you" that is having this problem helps a whole lot. Becoming more of a sleuth online can save you from some of the heartache. Talk on the phone, ask for a meet of a place of your own choosing and bring a friend or set up a safe call. Do not let your desires get your ass into trouble Take it slowly to get to know people and not just online. When I stopped looking, someone entered into my life because of something I wrote across the hall. That writing started a kinship that turned into friendship and , Well now we have been married for 3 years this august. One can find what they seek here, it just takes a slow path with lots of questions, discussions and getting to know them as a person and not a screen name.

Going to munches would be nice if I could afford to but thanks to a ex and a monthly income of 400. I don't see that happening ..this is the only option I have for now.. but thank you for your words.

 I woudl suggest, Getting involved with chats, here or elsewhere. Yes, I know lots of asshats here and everywhere. Being patient, is not easy. But be open to possibilities and keep as positive an attitude as you can. Positivity is far more becoming tan anything negative.Don't swell on what was or what might have been. I know..not easy. Stay as active in other activies and also keep active on line. Not just on alt or in these blogs. You just never know when you will meet good people.

Relocating is not an option for me. I worked to hard to have the farm I got plus I take care of my parents who live next door ..I am sure I will find him one day I hope once again Thank you
